At Our New Orleans Bed and Breakfast

All of the rooms at our bed and breakfast in New Orleans were renovated with your comfort and privacy in mind.

We are proud to offer outstanding New Orleans Garden District lodging. Central air conditioning and heat insures you have a cool respite from the Louisiana heat and stay warm when the wet winds blow. We offer radio/alarm clocks and cable televisions with DVD players in every room. Each guest room has a private bathroom which is well appointed with blow dryers and high-quality soaps, shampoos, and lotions. Dry off from a soak in the tub with our thick, luxurious towels, get ready for a night on the town curl up with a good book, or borrow a DVD from our extensive library to watch in your room. If you brought your laptop, spread out and plug-in effortlessly as the entire inn is has Wi-Fi. We are conveniently located near both Tulane University and the University of New Orleans.

Each of our two guest rooms have unique qualities yet all share attention to detail, respect for the architectural history of the cottage, and comfort for our guests.

The Plantation Room

The name of our grandest room references the origins of the Southern Comfort Bed and Breakfast. This is a perfect room for those who want to spread out in the adjourning parlor or convert the second room into a second bedroom. The master bedroom, with hardwood floors and oriental rugs, has a queen Belmont Plantation bed, sofa, writing desk, and large antique armoire. The seven-foot windows allow light to pour into the room and overlook the private gardens and pond of the innkeepers.

The adjourning room has casement windows with a tropical view. The trundle bed in the second room can be used for lounging or accommodating two additional guests. The bathroom, located at the back of the suite, has been decorated in lush green with a shower/tub combination.

The Horizon Room

For the ultimate in comfort and privacy, this room is located in the back of the cottage overlooking the gardens and fountain. The cypress shuttered windows overlook the garden, which is filled with sweet olive, banana trees, and lush tropical vegetation. The gentle bubbling sounds of the fountain outside the windows will lull you to sleep at night. The room is decorated with a four-poster, pineapple queen bed, dresser, and handsome bedside secretary. The adjourning bathroom with a tub/shower combination is large with ventilation fans. This room is perfectly suited for the business or leisure traveler.
