Cafe' au Lait and Beignets at Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand in New Orleans French Quarter.

Wonderful Uptown dinner destination that is both fun yet refined is Upperline. My favorite here is the Fried Green Tomatoes with Shrimp Remoulade. Joann displays an amazing collection of her favorite New Orleans, LA art.

Casamentos offers the freshest oysters in town. Third generation runs this wonderfully unique establishment known for its tiled walls and floors, not to mention, the bathroom, which is outback through the kitchen. Great place for lunch while shopping on Magazine St.

The Bar-B-Que Shrimp is a must at Pascal's Manale. This famous Uptown/Garden District restaurant has been family owned since 1913. The old time oyster bar and cocktail bar offers raw oysters on the half shell and all types of cocktails.

And of course, there is Commanders Palace located in the Garden District, one of the most acclaimed restaurants in the world. Lunch specials are the best value in town and Sunday Brunch is the ultimate especially if you are dining in the magnificent patio. This is dining at its finest with impeccable service. Try the Turtle Soup and Bread Pudding Souffle'.

Jacques-Imo's is one of the busiest small and crammed cafe' in town, not only because of the wonderful food, but also because of its warm and friendly atmosphere. Jack and staff make you feel as though you have stepped into their home and will assure a delightful evening. The Shrimp and Alligator Sausage Cheesecake is awesome but so is everything else!

The best New Orleans Gumbo can be found at another neighborhood gem, Liuzza's By The Track. Billy serves it spicy and loaded with andouille and shrimp, 'tis good! He is also famous for his lemony version of Bar-B-Que Shrimp.

You have to visit Ms. Tee Eva on Magazine St. where she'll delight you with the creamiest pecan praline.
